Spain have beaten France to earn their place in the World Cup final.

Mikel Oyarzabal scored the first goal, with Pedro Porro making it 2-0.

France had won all five of their games ahead of the semi-final, and many football experts were expecting them to win.

But it's Spain who will be facing either England or Argentina in the final on Sunday.

Many thought France were unbeatable as they approached the semi-final at Dallas Stadium.

The team is full of talented attackers led by captain Kylian Mbappé, but they faced a strong defence from the Spain team.

Early on, France left-back Lucas Digne went for the ball, but did not see Lamine Yamal behind him and caught him on the knee.

Spain were awarded a penalty and Mikel Oyarzabal stepped up and scored.

France's night got worse as William Saliba was subbed off due to injury and Spain kept control of the game.

Tottenham player Pedro Porro then doubled Spain's lead in the 58th minute.

A disappointed France will now play for third place on Saturday.

It'll be the last game for coach Didier Deschamps, who leaves at the end of the tournament after 14 years in charge.

European champions Spain will now face England or Argentina in the final.
