Barefoot is an agency devoted to strengthening and developing links between the Arts and Education in the City of Plymouth. Puppetry is a very old, traditional art, still active in almost every culture. It has been and still is, used in many different contexts, for spiritual, cultural and educational teaching. Puppetry begins with the first breath of life into an inanimate object. Any object can be given this life by a puppeteer. | | | PRINT THIS PAGE | | | View print friendly version of this page.. | | |
| | Following on from last year's successful Webtales, Plymouth school children have turned their attention to creating some fantastic puppet plays. It was the Brainchild of the Barefoot Project - the agency responsible for Plymouth's annual Arts Education Festival. But its success is down to the hard work of the children and teachers - why not see for yourself....? The Small Talk project is just one part of the Plymouth Arts Education Festival, organised by the Barefoot Project. | | | |
