MONEY MOUNTAIN!

BBC Radio Derby's Money Mountain has raised more than £1 million for good causes since 1983 - and this year your charity could be on the receiving end!

tiny

Money Mountain is an annual on-air charity radio auction that was first organised by BBC Radio Derby in 1983. Since then, more than £1 million has been raised for various local charities.

Auctioning goods and services donated by local companies as well as other fund-raising efforts help to raise the money with the generosity of our listeners.

The on-air auction takes place on one day, usually a Sunday in October.

Money Mountain is a registered charity (Charity No. 1103168) whose trustees are current or former members of the BBC Radio Derby Local Advisory Council.

The Council has twelve members from a wide range of backgrounds. They represent listeners and viewers in the area and meet regularly to offer advice and feedback on BBC programmes and services in the Radio Derby area.
