Name: Olivier Elima
Job: Professional rugby league player for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and French international second-row

Olivier Elima
"The best things about the job is that you are doing something that you really enjoy doing."

Olivier Elima, your Question and Answer session starts now...

How did you get into the job?

I started playing rugby league as a child for leisure, as I had too much energy left after school, and my mum couldn't cope with it!

What is the job about?

We are competing in the Super League championship and Challenge Cup so as a professional rugby player I am training on a daily basis, working on fitness, agility and with weights.

What are the best and worst things about your job?

The best things about the job is that you are doing something that you really enjoy doing, and you get up every morning to go to work looking forward to it. There is also the fans, and relationships between players.

The worst things can be the results and injuries, as well as the pressures of the games.

Have you had any embarrassing moments or have you got any funny stories tell?

Once in France, my country of origin, I played a game and during it somebody had grabbed my shorts to tackle me and I was running without anything on for about 40 metres! But as a consolation I scored a try!

If you weren't doing this job what would you be doing?

I would like to become a physio, but at this time I'll probably need to be a student to do this job. Anything in sport and physiotherapy.

Have you got any heroes in your field of work?

There's some unknown rugby players that I admire back in France but for professional players, Andrew Johns who plays in Australia, and my Dad!!

What advice would you give to someone who wants to work in your field?

That he should think a lot about it and even if you see the glory on TV, it's not like that, you really have to work hard, there are ups and downs, and the job is for a maximum of 12 years for a forward like me!

If you think you have an interesting job which could be featured on 'Jobs a good 'un', tell us your name and occupation then answer the above questions and email them with 'Job Profile' in the subject line to: westyorkshire@bbc.co.uk
