I'm no fashionista, but I'm pretty sure it's best to take off all tags before wearing your new clothes? Blunder. Thought it only fair to put it on here:

Greg James|13:19 UK time, Wednesday, 21 April 2010

As the summer arrives, I've decided I'm going to get fit...and get dancing!

I enlisted the help of the lovely Natalie Lowe from Strictly Come Dancing to show me a few moves and let me know if 'I've got what it takes'.

Judge for yourself:

She's nice and wiggly isn't she...

Cheerleaders! Oh. Male ones.

Yesterday, I was invited to take part in a cheerleading dance. I was expecting hot ladies. I got a couple of blokes. Who, to be fair, were very friendly.

Whilst having a look at Fearne's twart (Twitter-art) today on her pages, it reminded me of something I saw in a magazine earlier today.

This is Fearne from today with her picture of Miley Cyrus:

Tom Deacon who hosts the 5:19 show on Radio 1 was put on Huw's special bike. It is wired up to an old fashioned record player and the faster you peddle, the faster the record goes!

Huw Stephens has got 'Don't Ask' by Blood Red Shoes as his lovely Record of The Week this week whilst covering for me. He's been asking the ladies to send in pictures of themselves in their blood red shoes.

Here's a lady in hers. The lady is Fearne Cotton:

OK, I'm a bad friend. It was a busy old week last week and I put my life on hold really.

Bad news as I missed a couple of valuable bits of information. My mate Johnny lost his phone which didn't help communications but I didn't pick up his emails either. This is what I found this morning in my BBC inbox:

"My phone died, don't have your number, tried emailing your radio 1 email but no joy, couldn't get hold of you for me birthday sorry.
ALSO PAT {another mate} IS IN ROME IN QUARANTINE BECAUSE HE HAS MUMPS."

What do you say to that?!
Pat is OK now. The mumps have cleared up, thankfully.
Anyway...
Busy old show today - chat with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant about their new film 'Cemetery Junction' on after 5pm and loads of other guff. Laters.

I'm a zoo keeper...

My lovely producers on the show decided that because I'm in for Scott Mills for the next 2 weeks at the later time of 4pm, I needed something to fill my mornings with.

Today, I was whisked off to London Zoo to become a zoo keeper:

Greg James|12:31 UK time, Friday, 2 April 2010

Two modern day greats of comedy popped into the show yesterday: Steve Carell (Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin, American Office) and Tina Fey (Mean Girls, 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live).

They were superb. I was a little in awe. Apologies if I sounded like a Steve Carell stalker. (I am). Listen again here.
