THIS IS THE NEXT BIG THING. Well, it might be.

Everyone loves Miranda right? That's why I've come up with Miranda-ing. It's the new craze. It's the new Harlem Shake, Gangnam Style, Planking etc etc. I love a bandwagon, so here I am trying to make my own:

To do a succesful 'Miranda' you simply fall over and then when you get up, look at the camera, make a remark and then walk off...

My GOD the sun actually came out! For a bit. Briefly. I had actually forgotten how to sit outside.

And because of that, I nearly bought this:

Thought it would be a bit 'Peter Andre'. So I didn't. I don't know any page 3 lovelies to invite round either.

Hot tubs aside, this weekend was mainly about my little niece Pia. It was her 5th birthday. I ended up watching Tinkerbell with her and my nephew Tom. It's actually quite good but completely unrealistic to think that a fairy could repair all the leaks in a roof during a rain storm. That aside, it's a strong 3 star film.

The big present was this:

Cut a long story short. I've been fired.

Not really - boring news - the BBC are re-jigging the blogs and stuff and it's just moving to a new system or something. I fell asleep in the meeting.

Thank you so much for letting weirdos do stuff and give them a platform to display it all.

I mean, what the hell is this?

Its to a track by Bauuer and it's called 'Harlem Shake' and it's about to go INCREDIBLY MASSIVE ALL AROUND THE WORLD. The idea is that one person starts dancing for 15 seconds and then everyone else joins in and is absolutely magic.

I don't know if you had the same thought after watching this but...

The challenge was set, and WOW did you step up!

We needed to hit £196,078 by 4pm for Greg to jump naked into the Zambezi and for Chris off of Scott's show to travel the posh BBC lifts in just his pants.

The total at 4pm, thanks to your wonderful donations... was a whopping £218,461. Incredible.

Good evening lovely people.

Wow. What a day. Exhausting - so so tired, we are all so almost over this week of hell and high water. One last big push tomorrow and we'll be very happy campers.

Today was a long old slog - unending winding river with really dodgy bits full of hippos which, at times, were incredibly threatening.

I have learned so much this week - a real life changer. I've always seen this place like we all have on Comic Relief films, but being here I can report back (and you can trust me) that the money you raise is absolutely working. It's putting kids through school so THEY can shape a decent future for themselves. The cause works - I've seen it for myself. So if you've donated this week - thank you.

Day 3 - An Incredible Day.

Good evening. Night time on Day 3 and we're all sitting around re-telling the horror stories from yesterday. Today was much calmer - although we're all aching and itching horribly.

We must have seen 30 hippos today - and we got really close to them. About 20 metres away. They are dangerous big chaps and the guides are incredibly cautious around them because they can get aggresive.

We all had a life-changing morning at a local village and a local school. We met some absolutely beautiful people who REALLY benefit from the money you're donating. It changes their lives.

It will help them pay for school, provide children with pens, books and uniforms. If these wonderful children get an education - they will have the opportunity to better themselves. And who can deprive them of that?

Please don't deprive them of that. Your donations will really make a difference.

Day 2... Things Get Serious.

Hi. This is short and sweet. Sorry to sound pathetic - but we're genuinely ruined. This is tougher than we ever thought.

Today was a horrible reminder of how dangerous this river is if things go wrong. Dara and Philips got caught in a current and swept down the wrong channel in the river, capsized, clung on to trees, lost their paddles and were unreachable for over an hour.

It was one of those moments where even the guides and support team were worrying. Everyone's faces became suddenly very serious and rescue boat were called out. It was a stark reminder of the perils of this challenge - which up to this point had been relatively calm.

We're all knackered, Jack's kit floated away, and I had an on air breakdown with Huw a few hours ago. We just need sleep. And a shower.

Honestly the only thing that got us through today was the reminder of why we're doing this - raising money for people who really need it out here in Africa, and also your wonderful donations and messages. You're making a huge difference so THANK YOU for your support.

Despite all the drama though, Chelsee's false eyelashes are STILL hanging in there.

We've just been told that we're spending tomorrow morning in a local village. One of the villages that Comic Relief money will go to. The nearest school is a 7km walk away. It's poverty stricken and basic and has 165 beautiful kids in it and we're going to meet them tomorrow. I have a feeling this will make the stupid challenge seem completely worthwhile.
