Description

"This video explains why the Earth’s atmosphere several billion years ago, contained more carbon dioxide than it does now. As the oceans formed, carbon dioxide dissolved in the water and some of it reacted to form carbonate compounds which built up as sediments on the seafloor and eventually became rocks. More carbon dioxide was removed by plants through photosynthesis.
