Wales international Josie Green has agreed a new contract to keep her at Crystal Palace until at least the summer of 2027.

Green was due to become a free agent this summer but has signed a new one-year deal with a Palace side who are preparing for a return to the Women's Super League (WSL) having won promotion last season.

The 33-year-old played four times for the Eagles in 2025-26 before announcing that she was pregnant in January.

Former Watford, Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City player Green has been at Palace since 2024 and was a regular in her first season at the club.

Capable of playing in defence or midfield, Green has 42 Wales caps.

"We are very happy to extend Josie's stay here," said Palace boss Jo Potter.

"She's a popular member of the squad and her WSL experience will be a real asset to us moving forwards."
