League Two side Crawley Town have signed former Tottenham centre-back Pele Arganese-McDermott on a two-year deal.

The 20-year-old, who was born in Spain but moved to England with his family at the age of four, was released by Spurs at the end of last season.

"Pele has massive potential, and we really believe that he can show that here at Crawley," boss Colin Kazim-Richards said.

"He has great attributes, with superb defensive qualities. He defends first, but is also great on the ball."
