Stockport County midfielder Ollie Norwood has signed a new two-year contract with the League One club.

The 35-year-old, who captained the Hatters for the majority of last season, is one game away from 100 appearances for them in all competitions.

"He is a real leader in our dressing room and sets incredibly high standards for himself and for those around him," Stockport head coach Jimmy McNulty told the club's official website., external

Stockport have also signed Chelmsford City forward Jason Adigun for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.

The 22-year-old, who scored eight goals for the National League South side last season, is the Hatters' fifth summer signing.

"Pre-season will give Jason a great opportunity to settle into the group, adapt to the demands of the level, and show what he can bring to the squad," recruitment director Jonathan Smith told the club website., external
