Bristol City have signed versatile midfielder Sam Greenwood from Pogon Szczecin on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Greenwood joined the Polish club in August and went on to make 22 league appearances, scoring three goals.
He began his career in Arsenal's academy before joining Leeds United in 2020, where he worked with new Robins head coach Michael Skubala, and played 35 times for the Whites, including 18 during their 2022-23 Premier League campaign.
The 24-year-old has also had spells on loan at Middlesbrough and Preston North End and becomes the Robins' first signing of the summer.
Skubala described Greenwood as a "really exciting talent" who can play in a range of positions.
"He's played as a six, he's played an eight, he's played as a 10, he's played off the left, he's played off the right because he is talented," he told BBC Radio Bristol.
"He's not a striker, he's a midfielder, but he's a 24-year-old that probably has a point to prove that he can still get back to the Premier League, so he's hungry.
"But he's also played almost 250-300 games at senior level. Not only is he a talent, not only is he going to add to that unit and be competitive with that unit as well, but he's played a lot of senior football so he's experienced."
