Winners: Norman Beaton Fellowship 2007 Winners


The 2007 Norman Beaton Fellowships have been awarded to:
ANNA BENGO

LLOYD THOMAS
Anna came to the event via a workshop at the Albany in Deptford, London and Lloyd via a workshop hosted by the Oval House, Kennington London. Both join the Radio Drama Company on Saturday 21st July, along with the Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award winners Laura Molyneux, Joannah Tincey, Alex Lanipekun and Sam Pamphilon.

This year, the judges awarded three runners-up prizes to NBF finalists. Their names and the theatres through whose workshops they joined NBF 2007 are below:
Tim Disney............. Nottingham Playhouse
Sabina Arthur.......... West Yorkshire Playhouse Theatre, Leeds
Yasmin Hassani....... Menagerie Theatre Company, Cambridge
Each of them will be cast via a freelance engagement in one of Radio Drama's 2007 summer/autumn/winter productions.

This year, fourteen theatres from around the UK joined forces with Radio Drama in workshopping talent new to Radio. From the many actors who took part, 12 finalists were auditioned on 3rd April at Bush House by this year's judges who were Peter Leslie Wild (chair), Kate Chapman (Drama producer), Sandra Boyce (agent) and Ben Onwukwe (actor).
