BBC Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award 2014 Winners

The 2014 Carleton Hobbs bursaries have been awarded to:

HANNAH GENESIUS     (Bristol Old Vic TheatreSchool)

ROSLYN HILL               (East15)

MONTY D’INVERNO      (Drama Studio London)

PAUL HEATH                (Bristol Old Vic TheatreSchool)

They will join the Radio Drama Company on Saturday 26th July 2014.

Four other finalists are this year's runners-up - and each of them will be cast as a freelance actor in one of our autumn/winter productions:

SAM RIX                        (Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama)

SAMUEL VALENTINE        (RADA)


Nineteen accredited Drama schools and colleges took part - a total of 76 students.

Chaired by Jonquil Panting, Producer Radio Drama, the judges comprised David Hunter, Michael Cronin, Paul Copley and Rebecca Wilmshurst.

Hearty congratulations to all finalists and especially to Hannah, Roslyn, Monty and Paul with whom we look forward to working in the summer.
