Winners: Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award 2011 Winners
The 2011 Carleton Hobbs' bursaries have been awarded to:

ALEX RIVERS (East 15 Acting School)
FRANCINE CHAMBERLAIN (Italia Conti)
ADAM BILLINGTON (Rose Bruford College)
RIKKI LAWTON (Guildford School of Acting)


They will join the Radio Drama Company on Saturday 23rd July 2011.

Four other finalists are this year's runners-up - and each of them will be cast as a freelance actor in one of our autumn/winter productions:

Kirsty Oswald (Rose Bruford College) Hannah John-Kamen (Central School of Speech and Drama))
Luke Jerdy (Manchester School of Theatre)
Harry Livingstone (Bristol Old Vic Theatre School)

Nineteen accredited Drama schools and colleges took part - a total of 76 students.

Chaired by Sally Avens, Executive Producer Radio Drama, the judges comprised Peter Kavanagh, Michelle Braidman, Alex Jennings and Rebecca Wilmshurst.

Hearty congratulations to all finalists and especially to Alex, Francine, Adam and RIkki with whom we look forward to working in the summer.
