Winners: Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award 2008 Winners
The 2008 Carleton Hobbs’ bursaries have been awarded to:

DONNLA HUGHES (LAMDA)
JILL CARDO (Rose Bruford College)
GUNNAR CAUTHERY (RADA)
ROBERT LONSDALE (ALRA)

They will join the Radio Drama Company on Saturday 26th July 2008.

Four other finalists are this year's runners-up - and each of them will be cast as a freelance actor in one of our autumn/winter productions:

John Hollingworth (RADA)
Bryony Hannah (RADA)
Anneika Rose (Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama)
Helen Belbin (Drama Studio London)


Twenty accredited Drama schools and colleges took part - a total of 80 students.

Chaired by Jeremy Mortimer, Executive Producer Radio Drama, the judges comprised Marc Beeby, Amanda Root, Malcolm Browning and Rebecca Wilmshurst.

Hearty congratulations to all finalists and especially to Donnla, Jill, Gunnar and Robert with whom we look forward to working in the summer.
