Winners: Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award 2005 Winners
The 2005 Carleton Hobbs’ bursaries have been awarded to:

ELLA SMITH (Webber Douglas)
SOPHIE ROBERTS (Guildhall)
JOHN CUMMINS (RADA)
NICK SAYCE (Rose Bruford )

They will join the Radio Drama Company on Saturday 23rd July 2005.

Five other finalists are this year's runners-up - and each of them will be cast as a freelance actor in one of our autumn/winter productions:

Sam O’Mahony-Adams (LAMDA)
Trevor Cuthbertson (East 15)

Twenty accredited Drama colleges (a total of 80 students) took part this year. Chaired by Radio Drama producer, Cherry Cookson, the judges comprised Steven Canny, Manon Palmer, John Rowe and Rebecca Wilmshurst. Hearty congratulations to all finalists and especially to Ella, Sophie, John and Nick with whom we look forward to working in the summer.
