River City Takeover Radio Scotland Afternoons

Take a walk down Montego Street memory lane and join Grant Stott as he celebrates BBC Scotland’s River City on the day of its grand finale. 

Grant (who plays Sam Spiller in the show) will host a special Afternoons takeover featuring cast members as they share their memories and stories from the show’s 24 years. This exclusive fan event will relive some memorable moments; there will also be a chance to ask the special guests questions, and we’ll hear from some celeb superfans. 

The show will be broadcast live on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Sounds.

Tickets will be allocated by random draw.

You can register at any time until 8am on Friday 7 August.

You can apply for a maximum of two tickets.

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated by random draw, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Applications are accepted until the publicised closing date/time.

Step 2: Receive a message

Once the random draw has closed all eligible requests are entered into the draw. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
