Premier League club honours Kidderminster teen

19-year-old Aaron Mills was a massive Liverpool FC fan, before his death from meningitis in January 2026, on a visit home from university.

His friend Shaun McEntee gathered the support of The Kop in his honour with an epic 100-mile run from Aggborough stadium in Kidderminster to Anfield in Liverpool.

Shaun and Aaron's family are raising funds for Meningitis Now and campaigning for catch-up meningitis vaccines to be introduced, which resulted in a one-off programme in June 2026 for one million young people.
