Delay to assisted dying bill ‘undemocratic'
Assisted dying looked set to become one of the biggest social changes of modern times when MPs at Westminster voted in favour last year.
But now the bill covering England and Wales is getting held up in the House of Lords, and many of its supporters fear that it's running out of time.
The bill was backed by MPs in June of last year by a majority of 23, but has made slow progress in the House of Lords due to the huge number of amendments tabled. Rima Ahmed speaks to MP for Spen Valley Kim Leadbeater MBE who introduced the bill to parliament...
