Merkel and May are 'testing the waters'
Theresa May is preparing to meet her German counterpart Angela Merkel on Wednesday for the first time since becoming prime minister.
Stefan Kornelius, foreign editor at Süddeutsche Zeitung and biographer of Angela Merkel, told Mark Mardell that he thought both women would "get on pretty well", but that Merkel would "hold out to the very last minute" on any free movement deal.
