We’re doing this because of the incredible tributes being paid to one of Wales’ most respected doctors, Professor Tom Crosby, who’s passed away. Professor Crosby worked as an oncologist at the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff for decades. Former Welsh rugby star Jonathan Davies said: “Tom dedicated so much of his life to caring for others and making a real difference in the areas where it mattered most.”

Is your landline your lifeline? Openreach and BT are switching off the Public Switched Telephone Network across the UK. The major switch-off will be completed early next year, with all traditional phone lines converting to digital on January 31, 2027. New research by Community Fibre has shown that 48% of landline users are not confident they know exactly what they need to do to manage the transition.
