This week Elizabeth brings us sounds of the forest courtesy of Lancashire composer Thorn Wytch, who makes bowed strings, flutes and percussion from trees and transforms to produce extraordinary sound worlds; plus, more music from Ibukun Sunday’s new album which explores the silence at the heart of worship through an ambient twist on West African rhythms; and a ‘silent bat rave’ from Tommy Pearson and Hanna Tuulikki whose collaboration merges bat echolocation and the human voice.
