Call You & Yours: What's your experience of getting building work done?

On today's Call You & Yours we want to hear from you about getting construction work done on your house.

The government is promising a new register of trusted traders, which builders will sign up for.

They'll have to meet certain standards to be part of it, and agree to have a new ombudsman to act as a mediator during disputes.

There's also a new payments app - where customer's money is protected as building work goes on, and released to the business as certain milestones are reached.

But will it actually protect consumers from shoddy work?
