Two hours of classical sparkle

Join Sarah Walker for a Sunday mix of new discoveries, choral treasures and classical favourites, plus a Sunday Sequence heading back to school.

This week, Sarah Walker rustles up some old favourites, some new discoveries and a chance to head back to the classroom - musically, at least.

There’s a new release featuring music by British composer Dorothy Howell, and the wit and elegance of Mozart’s final piano concerto.

Sarah also heads to Renaissance Italy for this week’s Choral Reflection, with the extraordinary music of Carlo Gesualdo sung by Collegium Vocale Gent.

And with the new school year just around the corner, Sunday Sequence goes back to school with music by Benjamin Britten, Claude Debussy and Gustav Holst. No homework required!

A Tandem Production for BBC Radio 3.
