Matt Tebbutt serves food from some favourite Saturday Kitchen chefs, including Hasan Semay, Freddy Bird and Anna Haugh. Also, Rick Stein and the Hairy Bikers head out of the studio.
Matt Tebbutt brings the sunshine to the menu with a riot of summertime recipes.
Hasan Semay celebrates Turkish mezze with a quartet of outstanding dishes – hummus with chopped salad, atom peppers, deep-fried calamari and bulgur wheat salad.
Freddy Bird roasts Iberico pork chops, served with a rich butcher’s sauce, buttery mashed potato and spring greens. Anna Haugh puts Irish cuisine in the spotlight with her balsamic prawns with creamy polenta. And Dr Saliha Mahmood Ahmed has a classic Indian street food snack, aloo bun chaat, and a side of refreshing pani puri.
Olly Smith has a whirlwind tour of cheese and wine pairings, and Johannes Radebe tucks into either his food heaven, Thai fried rice with fried chicken, or his food hell, chilled courgette soup.
Meanwhile, Rick Stein is on the hunt for the best-tasting carrots, and the Hairy Bikers explore Catalan influences in Italy.
