This June on Asian Network Represents, Bablu Shikdar takes over with a vibrant mix of Bollywood nostalgia, UK desi classics and the artists defining the next generation of South Asian music. Raised in Cardiff with Bengali heritage, Bablu shares the music, memories and moments that shaped him, from childhood Bollywood obsessions to discovering his identity through creativity and culture.

Expect everything from iconic tracks by Dr Zeus and Kumar Sanu to fresh sounds from Desi Trill, Sukha, Saloni and Cardiff rap heavyweight Mace The Great. Alongside the music, Bablu reflects on growing up in Wales, finding representation, and why embracing who you already are is the key to standing out.

With storytelling, motivation and plenty of laughs, this is a celebration of community, culture and confidence.
