Slow Sunday: Tamikrest session and author Simon Barnes

This Slow Sunday, Cerys will help you escape up into the sky and across to the African desert, courtesy of Saharan rock band Tamikrest and author Simon Barnes.

Malian act Tamikrest are joining us live in session with their own unique desert rock sound, evoking the truths, stories and melodies of their North African homeland. We will metaphorically be taken there by author Simon Barnes, whose new book ‘How To Fly’ looks at all aspects of flight in nature, including evolution, technology, mythology, religion, nature and imagination.
