Her forthcoming book Finding Albion explores British national identity, folk culture and myth, themes that also inform her work as a seasoned documentarian and longtime music aficionado. With formative years spent working behind the counter at Honest Jon’s Records in London, Zakia pulls from a multitude of threads to construct a sonic tapestry especially for Music Planet.
