Helsinki: Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra Plays Sibelius's Finlandia

Celebrating great music making across Europe, this is a special concert celebrating Finland’s Independence Day from the Music Hall in Helsinki.

Throughout the series, renowned British conductor Nicholas Collon takes us on a tour of Manchester, Cologne, Lisbon and Helsinki to hear the excellence and versatility of orchestras that regularly work with European broadcasters.

The Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of its principal conductor Nicholas Collon, perform an all-Finnish concert, including music by Saariaho, Klami and Sibelius.
