 | | Made in Devon - clotted cream | Definately Devon was formed in 1996 and is a cooperative of 21 dairy farmers. Each of them are shareholders in the firm.
The company, based in Torrington in North Devon, sells milk to all the major supermarkets and local stores.
They also produce Devonshire clotted cream, using milk from local dairy cattle.
Winston Reed is one its directors and a dairy farmer near Tiverton.
 | | Winston Reed | He spends a lot of his time trying to find new business, and is only too aware that dairy farming is now at a crossroads.
"You either get in there, re-invest and innovate - or you get out.
"That is the stark reality for a lot of people," he added.
He says the co-operative is successful because it sells a perishable product that is not threatened by cheap foreign imports.
Because of increasing demand, Definately Devon is now advertising for more farmers to join up.
