Mary Tregwednack and her neurotic partner Angela decide to broaden their horizons and embark on a search for eligible bachelors to put some passion back into their lives. The target of Mary's affection is none other than the loveably naïve local bobby, PC Alan so the path of true love is unlikely to run smooth.
