Make your own Easter bunny

Perfect for little ones, this easy craft activity is a great way to get ready for Easter. Simply watch the tutorial and follow the instructions below to create a cute Easter bunny puppet.

Instructions to make an Easter bunny finger puppet

Step One

Put the cup on the card and use a pencil to draw a circle around the top. Then draw another circle around the bottom of the cup. Ask a grown up to cut out the two circles.

Step Two

Place your finger on the card, starting at the edge, and use a pencil to draw around it. Do this twice. Ask a grown up to cut these out. These will be the bunny ears.

Step Three

Put a blob of modelling clay on your work surface and place the large circle of card on top. Use a pencil to poke two holes through the card, close enough to poke two of your fingers through. Ask a grown up to trim the holes to fit your fingers.

Step Four

Use the glue to stick part of the edges of the big and small circles together, so that they overlap slightly. Then glue the bottom of the ears and stick them to the top of the small circle.

Step Five

Use some felt pens to draw on the face and ears. Poke your fingers through the holes and your Easter bunny friend is ready to go for a hop!
