Chinese herbal medicine

When we refer to China, what will you think of? Like when at the mention of Egypt, we will think of pyramid or the camel . When we refer to the UK, we will think of the Big Ben. Anyway, you will always think of something with the character of the country. So what's the Chinese character? Food, tea, the Great Wall or the long history? Yeah. These all are the characters, but today I want to talk about Chinese herbal medicine.

Why I want to talk about the herbal medicine? As the medicine , in addition to medicinal value, it is more mysterious than the western medicine. There is a story. In ancient times, there is no antitoxic serum. If we were bitten by a poisonous snake, what should we do? Just waiting to die? No! it's said that the plant could save your life which grows in the vicinity where the snake often haunt. According to the record in the ancient books, everything in the world mutually reinforce and neutralize each other. So the plant can help us. Of course you must find the place where the snake often haunt.

Besides, the Chinese herb appeared in the ancient letters as a code, or as a gift to remind someone to remember something. There is another interesting story. In ancient times, when the husband will have a long trip, the wife will put a herb in the baggage. The most interesting is the name of the herb which is called Danggui(当归). ("当" means "should to do something", and "归" means "back home".) In order to remind her husband that she is waiting for him and he should go home earlier.

Maybe with the development of society, we choice the western medicine more. However, the herbal medicine brings us something that western medicine doesn't have. That's why I talk about the Chinese herb today.

Zhangjiajie

Have you ever seen the film《Avatar 》? Do you still remember the Hallelujah Mountains on the alien planet Pandora? Of course they are fictional. But when you come to Zhangjiajie and see those peaks you will feel you are personally on the Pandora.

Not long ago I went to Zhangjiajie, which is located in the Province Hunan. Zhangjiajie is China's first national forest park, and it is known for its odd rocks, thick forest, limestone caves and beautiful streams. Everyday its beautiful scenery which attracts many tourists come here.

In my opinion the most beautiful view is the landscape of the Golden Wipe stream. Because when you walk along the stream you can see the abrupt peaks and odd rocks which are on both sides. And every independent peak and cliff has its own feature. For example, one of the famous cliffs is Mother and Child cliff. It consists of two high cliffs and a low one. If you see it from a distance, it looks like a mother holding her child before her chest. So it's called Mother and Child cliff. Besides this there are many other cliffs and peaks that get their names because of their features, such as South Pillar of Heaven, The Old Man Gather herbs and so on.

Maybe you think the peaks are very boring, because there are many mountains in the world and you have visited the more beautiful cliffs or peaks than the peaks in the Zhangjiajie. So I suggest you to visit the limestone caves. In the caves you can see stalactites which is formed by limestone after several millions years. Standing in front of them, you have to admire, the nature is so fascinating and amazing.

Another thing is worth mentioning. That is the minority people who live there. You can completely experience their traditional culture through their clothing, festival and food. Meanwhile, it's a hospitable and friendly minority. They will dance and sing the folk songs to welcome for your coming. Anyway, you can always find your favorite thing there, so come here and experience this beauty.

Friendship

Today I want to talk about friendship. Everyone in the world, rich or poor, beautiful or ugly, definitely have one or two best friends, who share your happiness and sorrow, and will go together with you through the journey of life.

For me friendship is very important. Especially when I lived in Russia , just friends accompanied me all the way. I have to admit that our friendship is not so smooth, sometimes I am kind of willful, sometimes your words hurt my heart, but finally we always forgive and tolerate each other. Meanwhile, I will never feel lonely and face everything with courage, because I know you will by my side, forever and always.

Friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives. Sometimes it's kind of like a bottle of a wine, with time elapsing it spreads sweetness, sometimes it's like a diamond, despite through of time, it's still shining in the dark.

The world is so big, everyday we meet so many people, just you know me best and you care me as treasure. If you couldn't be my friend, who can? As a word in my favorite book《Charlotte's web》,you've been my friend, that in itself is a tremendous thing.

Jinghua

PS: Next time I will change the theme, like chinese culture or scenery!

What is love?

What's the real love？By my side there are many couples. Some are lovers, some have been married.

They are my best friends. I still remember the day they became lovers from friends. The boy said, "I feel I'm in love with you already. In my eyes you are so perfect, and you're a good girl. So..." In the fairy tales, the "prince" and the "princess" lived happily ever after. However, the real life is always different. There are many problems in front of them: quarrel, jealousy, trust and so on, just like the other couples. With the understanding of each other, they know the "perfect" is not exist. But the real love is: Although you have known he or she has many shortcomings. You still choice and love him or her.

They remind me of my parents. They have lived together for 25 years. My dad is bad tempered, and is not good at expressing emotion. I have never heard him say love to my mom. When they are in disagreement my mom make concessions first. To be honest, I don't understand why my mom could tolerate my dad all the time. Until my mom was ill, and I saw my dad's anxious look. I could know the meaning of this word, "In the world the perfect love is not exist, maybe you're not the best, but you're the one know me best, you're the one care about me most. So I love you.

There is a saying in China. To hold your hand., to grow old with you. I think it's the best explanation about love.
