My little Meaw

Hi again everyone, and Hi to Jennifer and Rosie too.
Thank you so much for all of your encouragement messages for my last blog. And thanks Jennifer for your advice in improving my writing. Your explanation is very clear and helpful.
Today I want to tell you about the newest member of my family. Her life was very sad. Her mother died after she was born just 2 week. She has 2 brothers and they also died from a fight on the same day as their mother. She was left all alone. So my family took her in that day.

She is sooo cute, isn't she?

When she first came to my house, she cried so much (with meaw meaw all the time). And she was so small; I can even hold her in my hand.

Normally, at her age, she has to drink milk directly from her mother. But because of the circumstance, we decided to feed her this way.

We learn that while she's drinking milk, she will stay quiet and starting to feel sleepy.

So we gave her a lot <strike>to shut her up</strike>... ahem, I mean, to let her rest ^ ^!
(Btw her voice was so powerful. I don't know how such a little thing can cry so loud like that). Let's see more of her cuteness ^ ^

Now about a week has passed, she seems to accept our family and not crying all the time anymore. Great, now I can sleep quietly haha.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. Her name is Midi. It's come from MIDI that refers to midi karaoke file, a song without a word in it (And she seems to sing a lot ^ ^). Actually there was a disagreement in naming her. In the day of the tragedy, before she came to my family, she was with my friends first and also with the people who found her mother's and brother's corpse (Y^Y). And they gave her another 2 names, Teletubby and Nattarica. In the end, we all agree that her full name is Teletubby Midi Nattarica. And her nickname is Midi. (I don't think I will call her with her full name though, hahaha)

Now as I write this, she is sleeping beside me. Owwwww so cute !!!!
What about you? Do you have pet? How is your bond with them? Tell me tell me ^ ^

PS. as some of you are curious about the photo of me and my friends jumping so high in my last blog, we take the photo so many times until it came out like that. Thinking back now make me laugh. That day was so tried because we have to jump so many many times. But it was very fun and full with smile and laugh.

When you have to say Goodbye

Time always move forward, sometimes so slow it hurt but sometimes so fast that I don't even notice. I still remember the day I started my fresh year at the university. But now 4 year has passed, and soon I will graduate from here. My friends too, soon we will go on our separate way. When I think about the thing we have done together, the moment we all had fun, the moment we all share our sadness, etc. , and to think that I have to say Goodbye to them soon, tear starting to form in my eyes.

As we continue our path we choose, I hope that our memory together will always be there to remind us about our happiness and to remind us that there will always be someone wishing you all the best.

To my friends at the university:
Thank you for letting me be myself and accepting me for who I am. Thank you for all the warmth. Thank you for always being there when I need someone. Thank you for taking care of me. I want you guys to know that I really enjoy our moment together and I really like myself when I'm with you guy. Thank you so much for being my friends. Love you all, my friends.

Oh Hello again every one ^ ^. Sorry about the rambling. This is my second blog on February and I want to talk about the time when you have to say goodbye to someone especially someone you love. I have many friends here at the university. And after graduate we will continue on our way of life or our dream which are quite different. I just hope they success on everything they did. Goodbye is such a hard word to say. But at least it indicates that there will be time to meet again, right?

But I'm feeling a little bit sad. I shouldn't be, it not that we will never see each other again. But I think thing will not be the same anymore. We will not be crazy student who does crazy thing together anymore. We will grow up, everyone does. I just a little sad, that all TT^TT

It would be great if time can move back so that I can go back to the time I like as much as I want. . But our life might be more complicate. Don't you think?

When the time you have to say goodbye come near, what will you do?

PS. Btw, I'm really grateful for all of your comment for my first blog. Such a great community we have here. Thank you very much for reading. See you soon. ^ ^

English language vs Me

Hi everyone. Welcome to February.

I'm Jane. Currently I'm studying computer engineering in Thailand. It's very nice to meet all of you. This is my first blog here and I know that my language is not good so forgive me if my writing confuses you. You can always ask me if you don't understand my writing. Okay?

I don't have much experience in writing even in my own language (Thai). So I'm not quite sure what people normally write about. >,<

Ummm, let's talk about the reason I want to improve my English as this is my introduction chapter, isn't it. ^ ^

Well I want to improve my English communication skill because English appears in so many things around me especially since I'm studying in IT field. Being in this field, you have to always learn and the best way to learn is to read through every reliable document which most of them (if not all) is in English language. It's amazing that this language can make people around the world understand the same context and discuss thing together even if they live in an entirely different environment. (This is just my funny opinion but if there are aliens that want to communicate with us, they only have to learn English language and then they can communicate with most of us around the world. Wow o_O). Also I have a dream. I dream of studying aboard and learn more about computer in a different environment, different place, and different point of view. And that definitely require skill in English communication which I so much lack. And well, I like the sound of English. (and Thai too ^ ^)

But knowing why is difference than knowing how. I think the problems or the reasons that make it difficult for me to advance are because, First, I don't have that much of an opportunity to practice. Reading is quite fine for me but speaking and writing are somewhat problems. I don't know who to speak English with here in Thailand and I don't have anyone to read my writing if I write something (so I really appreciate this opportunity here). Also I have problems with generating sentences to clearly express the idea in my head to others. Sometime I can't find the right structure to fully explain what I want to explain. Especially in speaking, stop and think about what to say for too long will pause the conversation and lead to an awkward moment which makes it harder to think because there is someone intentionally waiting to hear what you want to say. English grammar also problem me too (as you can probably see). Tense always confuse me. And the relation of subject and verb (when you have to add s/es at the end of verb for singular subject) is very obscure for me. Oh and don't forget about vocabulary, my vocabulary database are quite limited. And I have a very short term memory.

So what are your strategies in studying English? For now I'm just doing thing I like in English as much as possible.

-I like novel so I listening to audiobook in English language.

-I like reading comic book so I read those in English language.

-I like watching movie so I watched them in English language.

-I like song so I listening to them in English Language.

-I like playing Game so I played games in English language.

-etc.

Well that should tell you more about me and my English. I hope it not bore you. I'll try to find more interesting topic to blog about next time ^ ^.
See you in the next blog. Thank you so much for reading this. And don't forget to share your idea with me. I'd love to know your opinion.

Best wish,
Jane
