Jess' mission is to help hard done by consumers who have suffered from beauty treatment mishaps. She finds out in this consumer series that in most parts of the UK, the beauty industry is unregulated. It's up to beauticians and hairdressers to get qualifications, so anyone could open up a salon.

Or ever wondered when the best time to apply for a job is? We'll have a bunch of the UK's biggest companies waiting to speak to YOU on Up For Hire Live's official Facebook page for the next two weeks, till October 21. Think of it as a sort of online career fair, but without all of the standing. They'll be ready with advice on how to get your foot in the door of their industries, or any questions about the companies themselves. They won't be hiring from the page though, so please don't ask them for work directly.

The fabulous Jessie J, Adele and Rihanna were amongst the big winners. London singer Jessie J has bagged four awards: Best Song for Do It Like A Dude, Best Album for Who You Are, Best Newcomer and Best UK Act at the glitzy bash.

Rihanna was voted the Best International Act, while Adele picked up the award for Best R&B/Soul Act.

Best Video went to Tinchy Stryder and Dappy for their duet Spaceship, and Tinie Tempah was named Best Hip-Hop/Grime Act.

So what's it all about? Well, show revolves around this 17-year-old geek called Paul who sees vengeful spirits or Fades and basically gets embroiled in a battle between the living and the dead. Having said that, the show is also about the bromance going on with Paul, played by Lip Service's Iain de Caestecker, and his best mate Mac, played by Skins' Daniel Kauuya.

The rest of The Fades cast list is just as impressive.

• Miranda heartthrob Tom Ellis (Harley Street, Merlin) who plays Mark, a teacher under suspicion when his ex-wife Sarah (played by The Tudors' Natalie Dormer) goes missing and is feared dead.
• Johnny Harris (This is England '86, Spartacus) who is Neil, a lone warrior against the forces of darkness, who becomes Paul's unlikely mentor.
• Daniela Nardini (This Life, A Street Car Named Desire) plays Helen and like Paul she also has an extraordinary ability which will prove useful in the fight to save mankind.
• Lily Loveless (Skins) who plays Anna, Paul's fierce twin sister who finds being related to someone like Paul rather annoying.
• Sophie Wu (Kick Ass) plays Paul's love interest, Jay.

The series is written by Jack Thorne, who's also written This Is England '86, Skins, The Scouting Book For Boys and Cast Offs.

You'll see new recruits Polly and Jazz learning the arts of deception which catch out the public. But just who are Polly and Jazz?

Acting is one of the biggest skills a hustler could have and Polly, who hails from Bristol, has built up an extensive background in drama from her school days. Outside her modelling and presenting work, she enjoys bikram yoga, painting, travelling and making sure her three dogs Frank, Lulu and Coco are well looked after!

Former MTV and Channel 4 sound man Jazz is no stranger to acting either. The Italia Conti graduate has been involved in lots of great productions including some great plays with Matt Smith (aka Doctor Who) during their National Youth Theatre days.

Confidential takes you to Nazi Germany through to the Pyramids in an access all areas series that contains giants, sharks and even the odd musical number! Here's a sneak peak at Hitler's office...

A real highlight is Matt Smith and James Corden's night shoot madness where, deliriously low on sleep and high on sugar, they make up their own Dalek invasion. Video evidence is coming soon, so watch this space.

The next few episodes of the series are really about making people's dreams come true. Confidential helped TV's Arthur Darvill, who plays Rory achieve his lifetime ambition of being dropped into a tank full of sharks!

Also, there are some amazing monsters to look forward to. One is an absolute BEAST, the kind of thing that a few years ago could only be imagined, but the monster makers really excelled themselves. Confidential followed this impressive creation from the early drawings, finding someone who could possibly fit inside it (and the bloke they found was an utter giant), right through to the tough job of hand-stitching each and every single hair on the giant costume, and to its truly amazing reception when it arrived on set. Matt aka The Doctor loved it.
